Requirements

  • Drone & Camera

    You must own and operate a registered drone as a freelance pilot. This can a DJI Phantom, Mavic, or Inspire series, Yuneec, Parrot, GoPro Karma or anything better. Must be able to capture in 1080p and/or 4k.

    As a videographer or photographer your camera has to meet our standards, typically only new cameras shooting in 4k or higher.

  • Part 107 Certificate - Content Creation Portfolio

    The FAA requires that all pilots flying for non-recreational purposes possess a Part 107 Remote Pilot Certification, or operate under a Section 333 exemption or Certificate of Waiver. All applicants who have this certification, or are in the process of getting one, can apply today. If you would like help obtaining this certification we can help! Contact us.

    For content creators a solid portfolio and a reference is necessary to work freelance.

  • Reliability

    Sometimes projects are requested short notice. Be ready to fly! You can set up a radius that you can travel to for projects and we will notify you when there is one in your area. Be on time and come prepared.

    Content creators working in either video or photo must be flexible, patient, and reliable.

We will reach out when there is a mission in your area and you can accept it if you are available.

 

Fly it or Shoot it.

 

Do what you do best and get content. We will provide you with the clients needs before you arrive. Be flexible to any additional requests they might have.

 

Get paid.

 

You may be just be doing this part-time, but you are a member of the team and your pay will reflect that. Upon services rendered you will receive 50% commission on the project. The other 50% goes to our post-production team. Additional pay may be provided to cover travel. Bonuses are also given out for complementary work, good attitudes, showing up prepared and on time, and anything else that makes us happy to have you on the team.
